Swiss Steak This recipe can be cooked in oven or crock pot.
1 round steak,
(tenderized)
dry biscuit
mix, and bag to shake meat in
1 large can V-8
juice
1 can mushrooms
plus juice
1 large onion,
sliced
Cut up meat and shake in dry biscuit mix.
Brown meat in Crisco oil.
Place cooked meat in casserole dish and cover with V-8
juice.
Add mushrooms plus juice and onions.
Bake 2 hours at 325-350 degrees.
(For crock pot, prepare the
same as above except cook on low for 6 hours).
