White Fruit Cake

1      pound butter

3      cups sugar
6      beaten egg yolks
2      ounces lemon extract
3      tablespoons pickled peach juice
1      teaspoon salt
1      teaspoon soda, (disolved in hot water)
5      cups Gold Medal flour
1      pound raisins
4      ounces green cherries
4      ounces red apples
4      ounces red cherries
4      cups nuts
6      egg whites, (beaten stiff) 

Cream butter and sugar together.  
Add beaten egg yolks.
Add flour with peach juice and soda.
Fold in coated nuts, raisins, glazed fruit.
Fold in beaten egg whites.

Pour into greased and floured loaf pans. 
Cook at 250 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until done,
when tested with a tooth pick.
